MORNLEAF PAGESALL NOTES

WALKING & ATTENTION

Taking the familiar
path again.

A good walk does not always need a new destination. Repetition makes small changes easier to see.

Choose one thing to follow

Notice the sound underfoot, the shapes of bare branches, or the places where rain stays longest. A single question can turn a short route into a useful observation.

Leave a little room

A route with time to pause is often more rewarding than a longer one taken in a hurry. Stop somewhere safe, put the phone away, and listen before moving on.

Keep a small record

A date, the weather, and three details are enough. Over time, those brief notes become a record of the place changing around you.
